Help fitting rocker cover?! Empty Help fitting rocker cover?!

Post by CivicChick Wed Nov 02, 2016 10:15 pm

Just got a spare rocker cover dipped and just received it in the post today for my Honda Civic Type R. Just wondering if any one was about this Sunday to help fit it? Or even the Sunday after? Don't mind waiting another week if I can enlist some proper help in fitting it! I been recommended to get a new gasket kit as well.. replace them while I'm under there. I got a man in the house but he knows bugger all when it comes to cars and I've seen a YouTube video but still would prefer some proper help Laughing

Emma you could do it yourself easily, it would only be a few bolts and yeah worth getting a new rocker cover gasket Smile

I've watched a brilliant YouTube video over and over. Kind of feel confident but would rather someone who knows cars in general be with me lol. Ordered the gasket kit so have to wait until next week now to change over as I'm waiting for that to turn up. Here's where I go naive.. No idea what the gasket is so don't know where to put this kit Razz Kill me now Laughing

The gasket will go around the head, where the cam cover sits on top of, so it seals it up, stops any leaks and blows etc Smile
