Re: insurance
What car is it going to be for? Is it for you or Liz?
My renewal is coming up at the beginning of October and the cheapest for me has been Sky Insurance, but bearing in mind, ive declared the lowering springs, alloys, spoiler, diffuser and my tinted windows.
If you're insuring a car that does have any mods and isn't likely to have any in the next year, Aviva was the cheapest for me (who im currently with). Although they accept up to 4 modifications before they wont cover you.
Ill put the insurance company numbers below who ive called, as I wrote them all down and wrote down the quote next to them. Id advise ringing insurance companies up so you can speak to someone directly and might even be able to haggle to get a cheaper price. I had Brentacre trying to beat my Adrian Flux quote (before I got a quote from Sky Insurance) and they started throwing add-ons in for free.
Sky insurance: 03303 331 250
Aviva: 03450 307 077
Prestige Insurance: 03334 001 580
Adrian Flux: 0800 0890 035
A-Plan: 01635 874 646
Brentacre: 01792 650 933
Performance Direct: 01708 564 143
Herts Insurance: 03301 231 840
Greenlight: 01277 650 866

I was going to say I've heard good things about Adrian Flux. I will try them when my renewal comes up next year. I'm with Diamond!! lol. That wont help you though.

Re: insurance
For someone who has no no claims bonus and have just started driving, that isn't bad. My bro has his test on Wednesday and has just got a ka. Insurance for him is £2k on a black box

Re: insurance
I finally got insured a few weeks back went to have my black box fitted on my little 1.25 fiesta and they say they couldn't fit it due to modification because the rear bumper has been cut due to exhaust rubbing and a k and n airfilter in my filter box so now waiting on reply weather my insurance want me to stay with then or weather they gonna class it as modified
